I’m Lucas Tavano, a backend engineer with a deep focus on Elixir and distributed system design. With over six years of professional experience, I’ve contributed to high-impact projects in the fintech space, most recently at SWAP, where I lead the development of robust Elixir based microservices handling high-throughput, asynchronous operations and real-time data processing.
Previously, I built and optimized critical systems at EBANX, improving performance for large-scale data pipelines and leading initiatives in multi-tenant architecture. My work spans from embedded systems in my early career to advanced API design, infrastructure automation, and functional programming.
I presented at CodeBEAM America 2022 on Elixir vs Python for neural networks and have been studying AI on Elixir since then.
