Experience — Software Engineer, Udin
At Udin, I worked across the full stack — backend, frontend, infra — and directly built core parts of the company’s financial-advice platform:
- Designed and built the multi-step onboarding flow: workspace creation, user registration, email confirmation, avatar uploads via MinIO, and team invitations. Implemented token handoff, resend flows, throttling, and revocation logic.
- Implemented workspace-scoped authentication & authorization using JWT handoff, phx.gen.auth extensions, custom Ash policies, and role systems (superadmin, workspace_admin, member, chat_only).
- Built the full decision-tree engine powering the chatbot: Decision Trees, Questions, Choices, escalation actions, NEXT_QUESTION logic, deeplinks, CALL_LLM steps, and workflow execution paths.
- Developed the full Agents / LLM pipeline: multi-model orchestration, embeddings creation, vector search, hybrid retrieval, context building, and safe execution routing for ChatGPT / Claude / internal models.
- Implemented Knowledge Bases with semantic search using pgvector, chunking strategies, text preprocessing, and workspace-scoped access rules.
- Built the Conversations & Messages system: streaming LiveView chats, optimistic UI, message states, escalation handling, and LLM response flushing.
- Implemented background workflows using AshOban for embedding generation, nightly sync jobs, email summaries, and state reconciliation.
