I am most passionate about learning in general and across many domains. I have a strong creative background in music and the arts that gives me extra context and experience to draw on for creative problem solving in software development. I have broad and general experience and love learning a new technology, paradigm or idea. I have worked as a contractor for startups working in Elixir and in Go language. I have experience with React and vanilla JS solutions to UI problems. I really enjoy DevOps sort of work and scripting for developer ergonomics. I am passionate about using each experience and learning to synthesize understand in new domains through comparison and contrast.
I love working alone with my head down and the great technical debates and discussions that clarify many challenges in a software project. I have worked contracts for annotating and generating datasets for ML models and worked on evaluating their performance in the context of coding situations. I tested the models by working to build core unix utils across close to a dozen languages in parallel to help train the models and simultaneously gain experience across languages in order to discover the similarities and differences.
