I’ve lived through struggle since the beginning of my career. I got into college through a scholarship and had to leave and step up my career to actually be able to fend for myself. I came from a poor background and being able to turn myself around is second nature to me.
I didn’t stop studying after leaving college as higher education was the main tool to enable me to get where I am now. I study to keep up with things and nothing stresses me more than being stuck in time with my knowledge.
I don’t shy away from responsibility. I know my shortcomings and how to work around them. I have good communication skills and patience to work as a team player. I have extensive experience with freelancing and being able to communicate, manage a solution and work by myself was essential. At the same time I’ve grown with humility in mind. My capabilities are for helping and not to make anyone lesser.
I love programming and working directly with code and plan to work as long as humanly possible. I have personal project to study languages and love to help people with their programming problems. Debugging and solving issues is my biggest passion. I just enjoy analyzing an issue through all possibilities and coming up on top of it with a solution. Researching and reading code is a extremely pleasurable activity for me.
Being a self-taught in many areas, including English, enables me to learn things quickly and to know what to look for to pick up the pace. Being lacking at something won’t fazes me but actually help me focus and look at strategies to either circumvent or to focus my studies.
I have experience in many areas because i hardly refused a project. I’ve worked with front-end, back-end, devops, database management and mobile in many languages. I’ve even had some startups myself that didn’t grow but thought me a lot about every aspect a project needs.
Today i focus on back-end but mostly because it is where i am right now. I was a fullstack developer for most of my career and it allowed me to do things thinking ahead to facilitate the team work since i know how this will integrate in the future.
