I am a senior web developer with more than 12 years of experience. I worked with various technologies and frameworks. However, most of my work has been with TypeScript. I also prefer backend over frontend.
I am looking to get into Elixir in order to improve professionally. After reading „Elixir in action“ (and doing the exercises), reading the Phoenix documentation, spending time on exercism, and starting my own toy Phoenix project, I can confidently say that I definitely want to switch to Elixir. I am more than willing to put in the extra effort that will be necessary in the beginning.
