My name is Juan Rivillas. I’m a Software Engineer with more than a decade of experience building scalable web applications.
I’ve always been a full-stack engineer, tackling problems on any layer of the stack. I love challenges, and I’m the type of engineer who builds trust within the team and is ready to help anyone all the time.
I have real-world experience with large-scale systems using your stack. I’ve built applications that process millions of events using Node, TypeScript and Elixir. More recently, I’ve focused on introducing AI features to the systems I work with. I have deployed code to production using RAG, agents, and tools. It all starts with architecture planning, something I’ve been mastering for more than a decade.
In addition, I’ve architected multiple systems from scratch using AWS a cloud provider.
