Regarding the professional experience I have had my fare share of working with low level Rustler NIF packet parsing and audio modulation/streaming to high level back-end in plain Phoenix (Even wrote a web framework “Grip” used by multiple companies in the Crystal programming language which is a lot like Phoenix, fastest framework currently), wrote DDD back-ends to handle millions of incoming messages through Teltonika devices over Codec8 through TCP and have worked with handling more than 90 data mining instances containing scrapers for Nomad Homes to scrape the entire real estate listing websites, format them, collect them and push them into Kafka for later consumption. I have worked with Absinthe directly and have been a contributor to the repository in regards to open source as well as have worked with audio streaming services through Membrane to write a live streaming radio over HLS and RTMP.
In Erlang I wrote multiple Cowboy services for one of the largest casinos in Ukraine, FavBet. I wrote the WebSocket line for data delivery to the front-end from scratch and swapped out the old service to increase the performance from 10K active clients to 50K active clients per instance. I rewrote the Lineout project which is the API for the bookmaker data for the front-end, increased the security and speed, validation and code quality. I maintained multiple projects, inspecting bugs related to RabbitMQ queues disappearing, dropping messages, missed messages, queue ordering and verification, I was in the BLD (Betting Line Delivery) team and was responsible for making sure that it all worked properly, more than 100 services and all of them using RabbitMQ to communicate.
