Senior Elixir Back-End Engineer

I am a polyglot functional programmer with a focus on code quality and testing, who learns new languages and technologies very quickly. I worked at Versus Systems for four years as a Senior Software Engineer focusing on our application back-ends which were all written in Elixir using the Phoenix framework. I started as a functional programmer with no Elixir experience. Within two years i was accountable for the code quality of all of our Elixir codebases and within three years I was promoted to Principle Software Engineer. I have a strong background in Ruby and Scala with a focus on functional programming so Elixir was a very natural progression for me and quickly became my language of choice.
