I was born in Iowa and was raised (after the age of 9) in Colorado, where I live today.
I am a graduate of the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business (BS in Information Systems) in Boulder CO, and sought two different incomplete Masters degrees (Management Science minoring in Telecommunications Engineering, CU, and Computer Science, University of Texas at Dallas). I completed the majority of a degree in Pre-medicine at the University of Colorado, Denver.
I have taught multiple courses (in Pascal, C, C++ and 8086 Assembly Language) at the university level and I love to teach.
I lived in Dallas, TX with my practice wife for 3 and a half years before returning on my own to my home in Colorado.
I love music and have a large collection of tracks on CD and Vinyl. I am a voracious reader of the classics, science fiction, fantasy, technical books and humor.
I’ve been happily married to my second wife for 35 years. I am the father of three boys, the oldest and youngest served in the Marines. The oldest died in 2022 of a heart attack due to smoking. My middle son in the COO for a nonprofit, he and his younger brother both live close by, so I am able to see 4 of my 6 grandchildren regularly.
I have 2 greyhounds and 2 bullmastiffs. We like our mammal love on the big side around here.
