I have been working in the data field for the last 3 years, working as a big data engineer mainly with the usual Spark, Scala and Python stack. Doing pipeline optimisation, being proactive about how to improve the quality of the system and the data we were delivering and proposing new ideas to clients or my team.
In paralell, over the past 2 years, I have been actively developing a game analytics web application designed to analyze player behavior in the popular game Travian. Leveraging the concurrency features of Elixir and Erlang OTP, I integrated Python’s machine learning capabilities to build a powerful player classification model.
I consider myself an advocate of quality at all levels, not just at the code level, and I am always looking for new ideas to improve the final product.
