I’m a backend engineer with 2.5+ years building production systems in Elixir on the BEAM. At a global research and advisory firm I owned a GraphQL API microservice on AWS serving 100M+ users a year, powering monetization (over $200M in ad traffic annually) and dynamic content across SQL and NoSQL databases. I work within CI/CD pipelines with thorough test coverage and have built Kafka consumers ingesting over 1M data points per day on average. I’m currently a founding engineer at an early-stage medical tourism startup, building the REST and WebSocket API (Phoenix/LiveView) behind the platform.
